In the 80’s, Josie Borain was one of New York’s top super models. Her unique features and fresh look made her the face of several fashion icons. She was well known for her Calvin Klein campaigns. In fact, she became one of Calvin Klein’s top models for almost a decade. Her unassuming looks and lanky body made her stand out from the over-the-top glamour of the time.

These days, this supermodel-turned-photographer is back in Cape Town and chooses to spend time with her husband, actor Langley Kirkwood, and their three beautiful children, Peter-Raven, Willow and Phoenix.

While in New York, Josie attended the Intensive Course in Film-making at New York University Film School. Now she is an established photographer in South Africa. Apart from fashion pictures and portraits, she is also well known for her work on the Red Cross Children’s Hospital Documentary.
